Overall Job Description:-

Update and review patent and trademark portfolio with respect

to official databases searches worldwide and information

retrieved from outside counsel. Update and review legal statuses

of patent applications including responses to office actions.

Perform prior art searches, FTO, invalidation, infringement

analysis, competitor watch and prepare and update reports

related to the same.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:-
Prior art searches and report generation as relates to infringements, invalidations, FTO/ FTM, competitor watch and related activities.
Novelty searches; Development of patentable and non-infringing strategies for specific fields of inventions.
Generation of technical arguments to invalidate competitors patents.
Prior art distinction during prosecution.




Management of core patents and trademarks portfolio.
Tracking and handling deadlines pertaining to US, PCT and EP prosecutions and other action items w.r.t. due dates.
Analytical work and patent reviews for select category of inventions.

Job Knowledge and Qualification:-
Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Science, Engineering or Technology, preferably B.Tech/ M.Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.
3+ years of experience in Intellectual Property.
Qualifications in IPR would be an added advantage.
Valuable written and oral communication in English.
