Job Purpose

To provide highly personalized, anticipatory, and seamless guest service to all guests of The Tamara Marina Alleppey, ensuring every stay experience reflects luxury hospitality standards, warmth, discretion, and operational excellence. The Butler acts as a single point of contact for assigned guests and Boats/Suites, delivering exceptional service throughout the guest journey.

Key Responsibilities / Guest Experience & Personalized Service

v Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and conduct smooth check-in/check-out experiences where applicable.

v Escort guests to Boats/Suites and explain resort facilities, room features, and available services.

v Build rapport with guests and understand their preferences, routines, and special requirements.

v Ensure all guest requests are handled promptly, efficiently, and professionally.

v Coordinate special arrangements such as celebrations, romantic setups, excursions, dining reservations, transportation, and personalized experiences.

v Provide unpacking and packing assistance whenever requested.

v Maintain complete confidentiality and discretion regarding guest information and preferences.

Room & Villa Preparation

v Conduct pre-arrival room inspections to ensure Boats/Suites meet TTMA luxury standards.

v Ensure the rooms are guest ready and fully functional ,, which may include making the room/ boat room/ suites at each day and whenever needed.

v Ensure amenities, minibar, welcome setups, and personalized arrangements are completed accurately.

v Monitor cleanliness, maintenance concerns,



and presentation standards continuously.

Coordination & Communication

v Act as a liaison between guests and all resort departments.

v Coordinate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B;, Engineering, Security, and Recreation teams.

v Follow up on guest feedback and ensure immediate resolution of concerns.

v Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, requests, and incidents.

Food & Beverage Service Support

v Assist with in boat/suite dining service and private dining experiences when required.

v Coordinate special dining requests and dietary preferences.

v Ensure proper setup and service standards during guest experiences.

Operational Standards

v Follow all TTMA SOPs or any additional SOP standards designated by the management as luxury service standards, and grooming guidelines.

v Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and security procedures.

v Maintain professional grooming, body language, and communication standards at all times.

v Participate in training sessions and continuous learning programs.

v Response and resolution time for guest requests

v Room/villa readiness standards

v Service consistency and adherence to SOPs

v Upselling and personalized experience delivery

Working Conditions

v Requires standing and walking for extended periods

v May require lifting guest luggage or assisting with room setups

v Flexible work schedules including weekends and holidays

Essential Qualification & Experience

Mandatory Skills / Competencies

- Management, Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in luxury hospitality, guest relations, front office, or butler service
- Experience in luxury resorts or premium hotels preferred
- Good spoken and written English required
- Additional languages and Malayalam will be an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong guest engagement and service orientation
- Attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to anticipate guest needs proactively
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Qualified appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Preferably a swimmer and definitely not water phobic
- Team player with a positive attitude

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
