Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer responsible for ensuring quality assurance of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods material at our manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for inspection activities, quality documentation, testing coordination, process monitoring, and maintaining compliance with company quality standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and bought-out components
- Conduct in-process quality inspections during manufacturing and fabrication activities
- Carry out final inspection of finished goods before dispatch
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and test certificates
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures
- Handle non-conformance reporting (NCR) and corrective/preventive actions
- Coordinate with production, stores, and dispatch departments for quality-related issues
- Monitor dimensional inspections, welding quality, surface finish, and product specifications




- Assist in customer inspections and third-party inspections
- Ensure usage and calibration of measuring instruments and gauges
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and process control activities
- Maintain safety and quality standards within the plant

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of inspection tools, measuring instruments, and quality standards
- Understanding of fabrication, machining, welding, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with ISO/QMS documentation and inspection procedures
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation
- Valuable communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills

- Experience in heavy engineering, fabrication, or transmission line hardware industry preferred
- Knowledge of NCR, CAPA, root cause analysis, and quality audits
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
