Job Description:
Fabric Sourcing and Procurement:
Identify and select fabric suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring favorable pricing and terms.
Oversee the entire fabric sourcing process, from sample development to bulk production.
Manage fabric inventory and ensure sufficient stock to meet production demands.
Production Management:
Plan and manage fabric production processes, ensuring effective and timely delivery.
Monitor production quality and implement corrective actions to address any issues.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., design, sales) to ensure fabric needs are met.
Quality Control:
Establish and maintain quality control standards for fabrics.
Conduct regular fabric inspections and testing to ensure compliance with standards.
Address and resolve any quality issues that arise.
Supplier Management:
Develop and maintain solid relationships with fabric suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action as needed.
Onboard recent suppliers and ensure they meet the company's standards.
Team Management:
Lead and motivate a team of fabric sourcing, production, and quality control personnel.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Cost Control:
Manage fabric costs and ensure profitability
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
