Job Title: Engineering Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead with a strong technology background to lead and strengthen our engineering function.

The candidate should possess hands-on full-stack development experience with .NET, strong leadership capabilities, and deep domain expertise in financial services.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical leadership, operational management, and team management to support the organization's growth.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the engineering team while also contributing individually when required.
Work closely with the CTO on technology strategy and key business decisions.
Drive stabilization and continuous improvement of the technology department.
Oversee day-to-day engineering and technology operations.
Manage end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Ensure effective application support and production stability.
Manage infrastructure and ensure system availability and performance.
Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
Drive strategic initiatives and contribute to organizational growth.




Collaborate with business and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.
Manage budgets and P&L; responsibilities.

Required Experience and Skills
15+ years of overall experience in software engineering and technology leadership.
Robust hands-on experience in Full Stack Development with .NET (mandatory).
Experience in application support and infrastructure management.
Robust understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience working in financial services domains such as:
Hedge Funds
Private Equity
Asset Management
Fund Accounting
Trade Reconciliation
Experience managing teams while also acting as an individual contributor.
Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to handle day-to-day technology operations and drive process improvements.
Experience in department stabilization and scaling engineering functions.
P&L; management experience is mandatory.
Solid stakeholder management, communication, and leadership

Skills:

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in financial services organizations and a proven track record of driving technology transformation and contributing to business growth will be preferred.
