Role & responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons covering History, Geography, Civics, and Economics as per the curriculum.
Create a positive and interactive classroom workplace that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources aligned with academic standards.
Assess, evaluate, and monitor students' academic progress through tests, assignments, projects, and classroom activities.
Use creative teaching methodologies, technology, and real-world examples to enhance learning outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate academic progress to parents during PTMs and other interactions.
Identify students requiring additional academic support and implement remedial strategies.
Organize and participate in educational activities such as field trips, exhibitions, quizzes, debates, and school events.
Foster awareness of social,



cultural, historical, and geographical concepts among students.
Ensure effective classroom management and adherence to school policies and procedures.
Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, workshops, and career development programs.
Promote values such as citizenship, responsibility, cultural awareness, and respect for diversity

Preferred candidate profile
Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in using educational technology and digital teaching tools.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to engage students through interactive and activity-based learning methods.
