Job Description: Key Responsibilities Quality Control Operations
Overall responsibility for raw material, in-process, and finished product testing
Ensure timely analysis and release of materials and products
Review and approve COAs (Certificates of Analysis)
Ensure adherence to approved specifications and SOPs

Laboratory Management
Manage QC laboratory operations, manpower, and workflow
Ensure proper calibration, validation, and maintenance of laboratory instruments
Control and monitoring of chemicals, reagents, and reference standards
Maintain GLP (Positive Laboratory Practices)

Quality Systems & Compliance
Ensure compliance with ISO, customer audits, and regulatory requirements
Preparation, review, and implementation of SOPs, STPs, and protocols
Handling of deviations, OOS, OOT, CAPA
Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations

Team Management
Lead, guide, and develop QC chemists and analysts
Conduct training on analytical methods, SOPs, and safety practices
Performance monitoring and skill development of team members





Coordination & Improvement
Coordinate with Production, QA, R&D;, and Dispatch teams
Support method development, method validation, and troubleshooting
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency

Qualification & Experience
Education: M.Sc. Chemistry / B.Sc. Chemistry (M.Sc. preferred)
Experience: Minimum 8–12 years in Quality Control within chemical manufacturing
Prior experience in Agrochemical / Specialty / Industrial Chemical industry preferred

Key Skills & Competencies
Robust knowledge of analytical techniques (GC, HPLC, UV, Wet Analysis, etc.)
Hands-on experience with ISO systems and audits
Leadership and people management skills
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Problem-solving and decision-making capability
