Responsibilities

Set up test environments in our lab and at our clients' sites

Develop clear and concise test plans and suites, test code, test cases, test scripts and defect reports

Manage workflow on projects by establishing and meeting project deadlines

Provide day-to-day guidance of project teams and contribute to their technical development

Provide feedback on performance of team members

Review defect reports and present status reports to client

Assist the QA team with development

Perform ad hoc and exploratory testing beyond pre-existing test cases

Qualifications

8 + years with minimum 4 years as Test Lead/ Senior Tester experience

Must have a strong understanding of testing standards/methodologies and/or software testing principles and test tools





Understanding of one or more leading automated test tools from Rational, Segue or Mercury Interactive

White-box testing expertise

Understanding of the Software Development Cycle

Understanding of Windows 2000 and Unix environment

Knowledge of one or more programming languages preferably C, C++ or Java

Understanding of enterprise technical issues, e.g., networking, database and the Internet

Basic understanding of software and hardware configurations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Robust leadership, time management and organizational skills

Ability to evaluate new software products/applications
