We are seeking an experienced Azure Tech Lead with a robust background in Data Warehousing and Data Analytics to join our dynamic offshore team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing Azure cloud initiatives, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and providing technical guidance to our development team.



This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, data warehousing, and visualization tools, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

What you’ll do…

- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure cloud solutions.
- Lead the development team for any data solutions/projects using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
- Design, build, and deploy data visualization and analytics solutions using Power BI and other Azure analytics services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Develop and implement cloud governance and best practices.
- Monitor and manage cloud resource usage and costs.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand their vision and strategy, translating it to the team.
- Define key features and platform enhancements to meet business demands and manage the product backlog.
- Lead strategic projects/initiatives to achieve desired outcomes and operational excellence.
- Prepare and present project status reports and documentation to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:





- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Azure Tech Lead or similar role.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to:
- - - Azure Virtual Machines
- Azure App Services
- Azure Functions
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Data Lake
- Power BI
- Azure DevOps
- Azure Active Directory

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Expertise in data visualization and analytics tools, particularly Power BI.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or similar.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with security best practices in the cloud.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Experience with machine learning and AI services on Azure.
