n Location: India (US Audit)
n Job Summary
n We are looking for a detail-oriented US Audit Associate with experience in Commercial Audits to support audit engagements for privately held and middle-market companies across various industries. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in executing audit procedures, preparing workpapers, and working with U.S. GAAP and auditing standards while collaborating with onshore engagement teams.
n Key Responsibilities
n n Perform audit procedures for commercial audit engagements in accordance with U.S. GAAS and firm methodologies.
n Prepare and document audit workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation.
n Test internal controls, perform substantive testing, and evaluate audit evidence.
n Assist in auditing financial statement line items including cash, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, accounts payable, revenue, expenses, and equity.
n Perform analytical procedures and account reconciliations.
n Assist in preparing financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with U.S.



GAAP.
n Communicate with onshore teams to resolve audit queries and ensure timely completion of engagements.
n Maintain audit documentation in compliance with firm quality standards.
n Support engagement teams during planning, execution, and completion phases of audits.
n Meet engagement deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
n n Required Qualifications
n n Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
n CA Inter, CPA (Pursuing), ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
n 1–4 years of experience in U.S. Audit with exposure to Commercial Audit engagements.
n Valuable understanding of U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and audit methodologies.
n Experience in preparing audit workpapers and performing substantive audit procedures.
n Solid analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
n Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
