We're building a centralized e-commerce backend that powers multiple independent storefronts. The frontends already exist as static HTML/CSS/JS; your job is everything behind them.

What you'll do

Design and build the backend and database for a multi-tenant e-commerce system (products, inventory, orders, users, carts, coupons, admin roles)

Integrate the backend with existing static frontends via clean, documented APIs

Integrate and maintain payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, PayU, or similar) including webhooks, refunds, and failure handling

Own deployment: servers, CI/CD, environments, backups, monitoring, scaling

Build an admin panel for store operators

Must have

Solid backend experience (Node.js/Express, Django/FastAPI, or Laravel — tell us which and why)

Solid database design: schema modeling, indexing, migrations,



query optimization (SQL and/or NoSQL)

Real production experience with at least one payment gateway, including webhook handling

REST API design and authentication (JWT/OAuth, role-based access)

Deployment experience: Linux servers, Docker, Nginx, cloud (AWS/GCP/DigitalOcean), CI/CD, SSL

Fluent, practical use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) — we care about shipping speed, and we'll ask how you use them

Nice to have

Multi-tenant or SaaS architecture experience

Caching (Redis), queues, rate limiting

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
