- Inspect sheet metal parts at incoming, in-process, and final stages
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and customer specifications
- Monitor quality during laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, and assembly processes
- Conduct dimensional inspections using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and control plans
- Identify non-conformances and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Perform root cause analysis using tools like 5 Why, Fishbone, and Pareto
- Coordinate with production and design teams to resolve quality issues
- Support customer audits, internal audits, and supplier quality activities
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and company quality systems
