Job Description We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Production (Final Assembly) to lead final assembly operations in a high-volume manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in consumer durable manufacturing with robust expertise in production planning, manpower management, quality, and continuous improvement.
n About the Role
n Lead Final Assembly operations and ensure achievement of daily & monthly production targets (UPH).
n Responsibilities
n n Plan and optimize manpower deployment for smooth production execution.
n Drive improvements in First Time Right (FTR), productivity, and overall operational efficiency.
n Monitor and reduce scrap while maintaining quality standards.
n Ensure adherence to ISO, IMS, Process Control Plans, and production documentation.
n Coordinate with PPC, Maintenance, Tool Room,



and Materials teams for seamless production.
n Conduct regular machine audits and ensure preventive maintenance compliance.
n Maintain high safety standards with a focus on zero accidents and employee training.
n n Qualifications
n n Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
n 6–7 years of production experience, including at least 5 years in the consumer durables or manufacturing industry.
n n Required Skills
n n Robust knowledge of final assembly, pre assembly, door foaming operations, production planning, manpower management, quality systems, Six Sigma, and Process Control Plans.
n Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
