This role is for an AV Pre-Sales Engineer located in Mumbai. As an AV Pre-Sales / Design Engineer, you will design and implement audio-visual solutions based on customer needs. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting site surveys, creating system designs, preparing technical proposals, collaborating with sales and engineering teams, and providing pre-sales support to clients. This role requires strong technical expertise and customer-facing skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Strong technical knowledge of audio-visual solutions, including hardware and software
- Experience in conducting product demonstrations and preparing technical proposals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of audio-visual systems and technologies
- Experience in the AV industry is a plus
- Ability to understand client requirements and provide suitable solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace
- Willingness to learn and stay updated with industry trends and technologies
- Technical knowledge of 2 or more of the following required: Audiovisual Equipment, Videoconferencing Endpoints, Network Equipment, Network Services, Hardware,
- Software, and Managed Services offerings
- Candidates with InfoComm (ICIA) CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certifications are preferred. Other industry certifications such as DMC-E, EAVA, CVE, and ACE are also helpful
- Some control systems DSP programming helpful: AMX, Crestron, Extron
- Knowledge of drawing programs (AutoCAD/Visio) preferred
