Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves executing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. The role includes assisting in designing software configurations and customizing solutions to align with business process designs and application requirements. This position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that software components are properly configured and tailored to meet organizational needs, contributing to the overall success of software deployment and maintenance activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.




- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to ensure alignment between software configuration and business process requirements.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to optimize software customization.
- Mentor junior team members to support their qualified growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Microsoft Azure Architecture, AWS Administration.
- Experience in managing and maintaining Linux-based server environments with a focus on SUSE distributions.
- Strong understanding of system configuration, patch management, and performance tuning in Linux environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Linux system administration and software configuration.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools to streamline system management tasks.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration.

- This position is based at our HDC3B - SEZ location.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
