AHEAD is seeking a detail-oriented IT Procurement Specialist. This role requires a solid understanding of the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process and solid coordination skills to manage orders, vendor interactions, and billing workflows effectively.Key Responsibilities:
Place all orders in Services Procurement Queue report
Place all Microsoft CSP orders
Follow up on order confirmations for software and hardware necessary for services engagements
Respond to chatters/emails in a timely manner
Verify appropriate terms and conditions on signed customer documents
Confirm vendor and customer billing schedules
Verify work at risk exceptions
Work with managed services contracts team on amendments
Work with PMO and customer success teams on change orders
Other duties as necessary
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT procurement.
Robust understanding of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes.
Experience working with major IT vendors like Cisco, HP, Dell, Palo Alto, Aruba, or equivalent.
Proficiency in using procurement/order management systems and tools
Excellent communication, follow-up, and coordination skills.
Solid attention to detail and organizational ability.
