Job Description:

We are looking a skilled and experienced QC / Lab Incharge for our distillery plant to oversee quality control operations and laboratory functions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, monitoring production processes, and leading the laboratory team to maintain product integrity and safety.

Education: B.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in a distillery, brewery, or beverage industry.
Work location: Assam
Age: upto 45 yrs

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of ISO, HACCP, GMP, and other quality management systems.
Experience in fermentation, distillation, and wastewater analysis.
Familiarity with laboratory safety and best practices.
Solid knowledge of quality control standards, lab testing methods, and regulatory compliance.
Hands on experience with analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, Spectrophotometer, etc.

Job description:
Supervise and manage the Quality Control (QC) laboratory operations.




Conduct chemical and microbiological analysis of raw materials, fermentation, distillation, and final products.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines.
Monitor and analyze process parameters to ensure consistency and quality of products.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Prepare and analyze test reports, maintain laboratory records, and report deviations.
Investigate quality issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions.
Train and guide lab personnel in testing procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
Collaborate with production and R&D; teams to improve product quality and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
