Seeking a highly skilled Stamping Simulation Engineer to join our design team in Pune.
Responsible for leveraging Pam Stamp software to simulate and optimize press tool designs.
Role involves ensuring superior efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing processes.
Prospect to collaborate with experienced design, manufacturing and tryout teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Comprehensive Stamping Feasibility Studies.
Develop and Utilize Advanced CAE Models
Perform Detailed Simulations and Analyses
Communicate Simulation Results and Recommendations
Collaborate with Design and Tooling Teams
Support Tool Design Validation and Optimization
Stay Abreast of Technology and Best Practices
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
Master's degree in simulation, computational mechanics, or metal forming preferred
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Simulation Engineer focusing on sheet metal stamping or press tool manufacturing
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Pam Stamp software
Experience with other CAE software (Autoform, LS-DYNA, ANSYS) advantageous
CAD Proficiency:
Solid working knowledge of CAD software, preferably Catia V5.
Experience with pre-processing and post-processing tools for FEA workflows.
Technical Expertise Required:
Comprehensive understanding of sheet metal forming processes and deformation mechanisms.
Solid knowledge of FEA principles applied to sheet metal forming simulation.
Proficiency in material modeling techniques for metal forming applications.
Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex simulation results.
Experience in optimizing stamping processes for efficiency and quality.
