Job profile

1. Freight Rate Procurement

· Obtain freight rates from Mumbai team and overseas partners .

· Negotiate the best possible rates and space availability.

·

2. Quotation Preparation

· Prepare import/export freight quotations for customers and the sales team.

· Include:

· Ocean freight / Air freight (Import /Export both )

· Local charges

· Documentation charges

· Transportation charges

· Ensure quotations are accurate and competitive.

3. Coordination with Sales Team

· Work closely with the sales department to support recent business opportunities.

· Provide quick pricing for tenders and spot enquiries.

· Suggest cost-effective routing options.

4. Rate Database Management

· Maintain updated freight rate database/ Quote log for different trade lanes.

· Monitor market rate fluctuations.

5. Vendor Communication

· Communicate regularly with:

· Mumbai pricing desk for air & sea both

· Overseas agents

· Transport vendors

· Collect special contract rates and promotional rates.

Skills Required

· Good knowledge of INCOTERMS

· Strong negotiation skills





· Good Excel and costing skills

· Ability to work fast on urgent enquiries

Pay: ₹9,802.66 - ₹37,754.38 per month
