Job Title : Principle Data Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale data engineering solutions and data platforms.
Build and optimize scalable ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics solutions.
Drive adoption of GenAI, AI/ML, and automation technologies for data processing, reporting, and business insights.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define data strategies and technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to data engineering teams.
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across the data lifecycle.
Implement up-to-date SDLC practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile delivery methodologies.
Manage stakeholder communication, project execution, and risk mitigation activities.
Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
Support enterprise reporting, financial analytics, and regulatory data requirements.

Requisites




Bachelor//'s or Master//'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong expertise in Python, SQL, Data Modeling, ETL Development, and Data Warehousing.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and contemporary data engineering tools.
Robust understanding of finance, investment banking, financial reporting, and analytics domains.
Hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, AI-powered automation, and data engineering solutions.
Experience building scalable data pipelines, enterprise analytics platforms, and reporting systems.
Knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, Agile methodologies, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
Experience with data governance, security, compliance, and data quality frameworks.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with Power BI, Apache Airflow, OLAP tools, Shell Scripting, and workflow automation is an advantage.
