Position: Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Thane – Wagle Estate
Experience: 1–3 Years
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 CTC per month (Depends on Interview Performance)
Shift: General Shift

Job Summary

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to provide end-user IT support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate should have positive technical knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, and basic networking.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems and application software.
- Configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Perform hardware replacement and system upgrades (RAM, HDD/SSD, etc.).
- Provide technical support to end users through onsite and remote assistance.
- Handle user account creation, password resets, and basic system administration tasks.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets as per SLA.
- Maintain IT asset records and documentation.




- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty support when required.

Required Skills

- Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Installation and configuration of desktops and laptops.
- Printer installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Windows OS installation and support.
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP).
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.

Eligibility

- SSC/HSC +Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Desktop Support or IT Support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with remote support tools.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory and Outlook configuration.
