Key Responsibilities

Raw Material Sourcing

 Develop the raw material standards as drive from the customer supplied standards.

 Ensure the quality of incoming raw material by different types of testing.

 Conduct regular audits for Steel Supplier to maintain the quality of raw material.

Heat Treatment Process

 Check the feasibility of heat treatment as per the required mentioned in the drawing

 Development of the recent product by initials trials and validations

 Maintain the regular quality by maintaining the system

 Inspection of product as per the CQI-9 system

Supplier Development

 Development of new supplier on the basis of infrastructure and the system followed by them

Supplier Annual Assessment

 Maintaining the quality of the existing suppliers by regular annual audits.

Customer Interface

 Regular interface with the customer on the basis of quality and delivery of the product, also

conduct regular audits as per customer requirements.

Quality Assurance

 Maintain zero defect culture by conducting daily rejection reviews and meetings.

 Conduct GEMBA meetings to reduce internal complaints.

 Eliminate quality complaints at the customer end by managing effective root cause analysis.

 Actively participate in the KAIZEN and POKE YOKE system to improve overall quality





 Ensure timely submission of CAPA to customers.

Role Profile

Production Planning

 Ensure to meet monthly production schedule by making minute level planning.

 Lead and manage the entire production process.

 Conduct regular meetings with internal as well as with suppliers.

CQI-9 System

 Make the annual plan component wise for CQI-9 audits.

 Lead the audit to maintain proper system to meet system requirements.

 Continuous monitoring of calibrations of instruments.

 Eliminate the potential causes of NC’s

NDT Testing System

 Implementation and maintaining the MPI system for inspection of surface and sub surface defects

 Implementation and maintaining the Eddy Current sorting system for the mix up of raw material.

 Implementation and maintaining the DFA system for mix up of soft material of components.

Continuous Improvement

 Implementation of KAIZEN and POKE YOKE in all production lines.

 Promote 5S activites in work shop.

 Develop cost effective activities

Qualification and Skills

Formal Qualifications

Essential

 Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operation Management

 10 years’ experience in Heat Treatment as Metallurgist

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
