Job Description: Manager - Data Privacy will manage privacy Operations and Data Protection programs that ensure compliance with global privacy laws and regulations, safeguard sensitive data, and protect privacy rights. This role facilitates the creation of solid technical direction as per strategy from their functions, and who is well versed in cross-functional alignment across a complex set of stakeholders and partners. This role reports to the Senior AVP Data Privacy. Solid understanding of data privacy and security concepts, including Privacy by Design principles, and applied experience leading privacy engineering projects. Deep technical expertise in either Privacy or Data Protection and their common engineering solutions. Strong understanding of global Privacy and Data Protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA).



Experience building and leading a build-centric privacy and software engineering team and help guide towards the highest leverage solutions. Ability to develop balanced cross-functional partnerships with key partners and other technical and non-technical teams with a willingness to lean on and delegate work to external teams as needed. Experience building Privacy or Data Protection programs from the ground up with a level of scrappyness and pragmatism. Pragmatic risk approach and understanding of risk tradeoffs with business goals. Strong hiring capabilities and building inclusive team environments. Creative and strategic approach to solving complex problems.
