Aartaa Decor is seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Product Designer to design and develop luxury lighting fixtures and home décor products. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in CAD software, product development, material understanding, manufacturing processes, and design theory.

You will be responsible for transforming concepts into production-ready designs while maintaining aesthetic excellence, functionality, and brand identity. This role requires someone who can clearly explain design rationale, create detailed technical drawings, collaborate with artisans and production teams, and contribute to the development of premium collections.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop luxury products including:
- Chandeliers
- Pendant Lights
- Wall Lights
- Table Lamps
- Floor Lamps
- Mirrors
- Wall Art
- Sculptures
- Decorative Accessories
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Develop product concepts based on market trends, customer requirements, and brand direction.
- Explain and present design concepts, proportions, aesthetics, material selections, and functional considerations to internal teams and clients.
- Research design movements, luxury trends, architectural styles, and innovative materials.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, sourcing, and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.
- Create prototypes and oversee product development from concept to final production.
- Conduct material and finish selection for glass, metal, crystal, marble, wood, stone, and other premium materials.
- Analyze product costs and optimize designs for production efficiency.
- Maintain product specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and design documentation.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, lighting innovations, and international design trends.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field.




- 2+ years of experience in product design, industrial design, lighting design, furniture design, or luxury home décor.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product development and CAD proficiency.
- Excellent visual communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of design principles, ergonomics, proportions, aesthetics, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Technical SkillsCAD & Design Software

Proficiency in one or more of the following:

- SolidWorks
- Rhino 3D
- Fusion 360
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Blender

- 3ds Max
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of decorative lighting design and luxury furniture manufacturing.
- Understanding of metal fabrication, glass production, casting, CNC machining, and finishing processes.
- Experience creating photorealistic product renderings.
- Familiarity with lighting fixture components, electrical integration, and structural considerations.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and interior design concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and product development mindset.
