Assistant Quality Engineer: Electrical Control Panels

Location: Ghaziabad

Join our dynamic team at VCIPL, a leading manufacturer of high-quality electrical control panels serving industrial and commercial clients across India.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspection & Testing:

o Conduct inward inspection of raw materials, components (breakers, relays, wires), and sheet metal parts.

o Perform in-process inspections (wiring check, component layout) and final testing of electrical panels, including electrical safety tests like High Voltage (HV) testing, insulation resistance, and functional tests (simulation).

o Use measuring instruments, multi meter, clamp meter, and Go/No-Go gauges.

· Quality Documentation & Reporting:

o Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and quality logs.

o Prepare daily reports on rejections and identify trends (stratification of rejection).

o Ensure all documentation is compliant with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

· Process Improvement & Audits:

o Conduct internal process audits and verify adherence to SOPs, torque standards, and schematic drawings.

o Maintain tools and measurement equipment calibration status.

· Coordination:





o Collaborate with production, design, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues.

o Interact with customers during inspections and handle customer complaints.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics

· Experience: Generally 2-3 years of experience in in-process inspection or quality control, specifically within an electrical panel industry.

· Technical Knowledge:

o Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).

o Strong knowledge of GD&T; and electrical standards.

o Familiarity with quality tools (SPC, MSA, and FMEA).

· Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication abilities.

· Technical Proficiencies: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for documentation.

· SalaryRange: 15,000 to 22,000 per Month.
