POSITION SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, performs client-site servicing, repair and/or installation of company product(s). This job may include any aspect of product field support, including system hardware and software, and systems networking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Equipment Maintenance: Installing, servicing, and repairing systems and components at customer sites.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing complex mechanical, hardware, and software failures down to the component level.
- Customer Support: Serving as the technical contact for client issues and escalating design problems to engineering.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Training and guiding Level I–III technicians and field engineers.
- Documentation & Safety: Tracking maintenance,
reporting downtime, ordering parts, and following safety policies.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- The ability to lift 35 lbs. unassisted from the floor to waist level.
- The ability to read and work from electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams.
- AS Associate of Science degree in Electronics or completion of accredited basic electronics program or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Three (3) to Six (6) years of work-related experience, in mechanical, electrical and customer support.
- Working knowledge of principles of semiconductor and/or vacuum technology is preferred.
