POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Power BI Developer is responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-grade Business Intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across manufacturing, operations, finance, supply chain, HR, HSE, logistics, and commercial functions. The role involves building interactive dashboards, KPI monitoring solutions, executive reporting, and advanced analytics, while ensuring data accuracy, security, governance, and performance optimization across the reporting landscape. The ideal candidate combines strong technical command of the Power BI ecosystem with a clear understanding of industrial and business processes, and can translate complex data into clear, actionable insight for leadership and operational teams alike.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Dashboard Development

- Design and develop executive dashboards for leadership review.
- Build operational and production dashboards for day-to-day monitoring.
- Develop interactive KPI monitoring dashboards.
- Create mobile-optimized dashboards for on-the-go access.
- Design drill-through and drill-down reports for detailed analysis.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

- Develop enterprise MIS reports and analytical reports for management.
- Create ESG and sustainability dashboards.
- Build compliance dashboards aligned to regulatory and internal standards.
- Deliver self-service BI solutions that empower business users.

Data Modeling & Optimization

- Design scalable semantic data models.
- Develop optimized DAX measures and calculations.
- Build Power Query transformations for clean,



reliable data.
- Create reusable datasets and dataflows.
- Continuously optimize dashboard and report performance.

Data Integration

- Connect Power BI with SAP, SQL Server, APIs, Azure, Excel, CSV, and industrial data sources.
- Integrate multiple enterprise systems into unified reporting platforms.
- Validate and reconcile business data for accuracy and consistency.

Governance & Security

- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) across reports.
- Manage Power BI workspaces and report lifecycle.
- Establish version control and change management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational data security standards.

Analytics

- Perform trend analysis, root cause analysis, and KPI benchmarking.
- Conduct statistical analysis to support business decisions.
- Deliver predictive analytics visualizations.

User Enablement & Support

- Support business users and resolve dashboard issues.
- Conduct user training sessions.
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Provide post-deployment support and enhancements.

Job Requirement

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

Power BI: Dashboard Development, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, Dataflows, Paginated Reports, Row-Level Security (RLS)

Database & Warehousing: SQL, Data Warehouse concepts, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema

Data Integration: SAP connectivity, API integration, Azure data sources, Excel, CSV, industrial data sources

Analytics: KPI design,



statistical analysis, predictive analytics, trend analysis, root cause analysis

Visualization: Executive, operational, and mobile dashboards; drill-through reports; performance optimization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Domain exposure to Metals, Mining, Cement, or Process industries.
- Experience with enterprise analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of digital manufacturing concepts.
