Job Title: Forklift Sales Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Forklift Sales Representative to join our team. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and managing existing accounts to provide material handling solutions (forklifts, reach trucks, and warehouse equipment).

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development: Proactively identify and cold-call potential customers in the logistics, manufacturing, and warehousing sectors.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct site visits to analyze customer applications, floor space, and load requirements to recommend the best forklift models .
- Product Demonstrations: Organize and lead equipment demonstrations, highlighting safety features, fuel efficiency, and ROI.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with fleet managers and business owners to secure repeat business and service contracts.
- Negotiation & Closing: Prepare professional sales proposals, negotiate pricing/leasing terms, and finalize sales agreements.
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activity and stay updated on industry trends,



such as lithium-ion battery technology and warehouse automation.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the CRM database, including lead status, sales forecasts, and lost-order analysis.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in industrial B2B sales (experience in material handling, heavy equipment, or automotive leasing is a major plus).
- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn technical specifications of various forklift classes (Class I through V).
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential for frequent travel to client sites.
- Physical Ability: Must be comfortable walking through busy warehouse environments and occasionally demonstrating equipment.
