About the Role

Data Mavericks is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to support and operate our global IT setting. This role focuses on the reliability, security, and availability of end-user systems, enterprise applications, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong customer service mindset, takes ownership of issues end-to-end, and ensures a consistent and secure IT experience for employees worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain IT systems to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.
- Act as the primary escalation point for IT Operations, owning incidents through resolution and follow-up.
- Provide operational support for Microsoft Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), Office 365/office.com, Active Directory, endpoint management, and end-user networking.
- Support and manage Windows and macOS endpoints, ensuring devices, applications, and security controls function effectively.
- Administer and support cloud and SaaS environments across Azure and AWS, including access management, monitoring, and operational troubleshooting.




- Troubleshoot complex system, network, and application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor system health, storage, and alerts in line with IT operations best practices.
- Support information security operations, including identity and access management, endpoint protection, patching, and network security controls.
- Support compliance and governance requirements by operating technical controls, supporting audits, and ensuring adherence to approved access, data handling, and security policies.
- Provide operational support for secure data platforms, including access provisioning, availability monitoring, and incident response.
- Document operational procedures and support workflows to improve service quality and response times.
- Collaborate with architects, security, and engineering teams to implement approved solutions in production.
