Job Title: Plant Head (Hazardous Waste Management)

Peregreen Enviro Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Plant Head to lead our state-of-the-art facility in Dahej. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the plant’s operations, with a specific focus on pre-processing within the waste management sector. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring stringent compliance with environmental laws, and fostering a culture of safety and high performance

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership

- Oversee end-to-end plant operations, specializing in the pre-processing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
- Optimize production workflows to meet throughput targets while maintaining cost-efficiency.
- Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for plant efficiency, downtime reduction, and resource utilization.
- Manage the annual operating budget (OPEX/CAPEX) and ensure cost-control measures are in place.

2. Statutory Compliance & Liaison

- Serve as the primary point of contact for statutory and regulatory bodies (GPCB, CPCB, etc.).
- Ensure 100% adherence to Local Legal Compliances, environmental permits, and labor laws.
- Maintain all necessary documentation and reporting required for environmental audits and inspections.

3. Team Management & Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse workforce, ensuring high levels of engagement and productivity.




- Enforce a "Safety First" culture, maintaining zero-incident standards for health and safety (EHS).
- Handle industrial relations and resolve any local labor or community issues effectively.

4. Process Improvement

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S) to enhance pre-processing quality.
- Oversee maintenance schedules for plant machinery to ensure maximum uptime.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 12–15+ years of experience in plant operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Waste Management / Alternative Fuels (AFR) / Chemical industry.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of waste pre-processing technologies, co-processing, and hazardous waste handling.
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering. An MBA in Operations is a plus.
- Compliance Knowledge: Proven track record of handling GPCB/CPCB norms and environmental litigation.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both shop-floor workers and corporate stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to be based in or relocate to Dahej, Bharuch.
