Role Overview:

We are looking for a MERN Stack Developer with solid experience building scalable full-stack applications, with particular strength in Node.js backend development. The ideal candidate can design APIs, structure services, build efficient front-end components, and take ownership of end-to-end module delivery. This role requires someone who understands system flow, architecture basics, and can work closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Backend (Primary Focus – Node.js)

- Develop scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, authentication flows, and business logic layers.
- Integrate with databases such as MongoDB, and write optimized queries.
- Build microservices or modular backend architectures as needed.
- Implement security best practices, API versioning, error handling, and logging.
- Optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term, stable solutions.

Frontend (React)

- Build responsive, reusable UI components using React.js, React Hooks, and contemporary JavaScript.
- Integrate frontend with backend APIs and manage state effectively.
- Work with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap/Material UI and component-driven design.
- Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility and optimal performance.

Full-Stack Responsibilities





- Collaborate in system design discussions and contribute to decisions on architecture and data flow.
- Translate requirements into well-structured technical tasks.
- Ensure seamless integration between frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Work closely with QA, DevOps, and product teams for smooth delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

Backend (Must-Have)

- Strong expertise in:
- Node.js
- Express.js
- MongoDB
- RESTful API design

- Good understanding of:

- Asynchronous programming & event-driven patterns
- Error handling, API versioning, and security best practices
- JWT/OAuth authentication
- Performance tuning and backend optimization

Frontend

- Hands-on experience in:
- React.js
- React Hooks, Context API/Redux
- Modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- HTML5, CSS3, Responsive UI

Additional Technical Skills

- Experience with Git and standard branching workflows.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is an added advantage.

Soft Skills

- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with product/engineering teams.
- Proactive ownership of tasks and outcomes.
- Ability to break down requirements into manageable tasks.
- Good debugging & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in small teams.
