- Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes (vegetarian and non-vegetarian).
- Plan and develop menus based on regional Indian cuisines.
- Ensure all food preparation meets hygiene and food safety standards.
- Monitor kitchen inventory and order ingredients as needed.
- Manage kitchen operations, including supervising junior kitchen staff if required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Adapt recipes and cooking techniques to meet dietary needs or special requests.
- Ensure consistent taste, portioning, and presentation of food.
- Keep up-to-date with new culinary trends and regional Indian cuisines.
