Position Overview:
GSS Projects is seeking a skilled IT Applications & Business Systems Executive to manage, configure, and continuously improve internal business applications. This role focuses on application-level implementation, automation, integrations, and practical AI enablement to support efficient internal operations across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Applications Implementation

- Configure, manage, and maintain internal business applications such as Zoho One and related tools.
- Set up workflows, approvals, roles, permissions, and system-based reports.
- Customize applications based on real business processes and operational needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and overall system hygiene.
- Troubleshoot application-level issues (excluding hardware or networking).

2. Integrations, Automation & AI Enablement

- Integrate multiple applications using built-in connectors, APIs, or webhooks.
- Connect internal systems with Google Workspace, accounting software, project management tools, and other SaaS platforms.
- Implement automation and basic scripting where required (e.g., Deluge or similar tools).
- Identify, evaluate, and deploy relevant AI tools for:

– Process automation
– Reporting and data analysis
– Documentation and knowledge management
– Internal productivity enhancement

- Stay updated on emerging AI tools and trends and apply them practically within business systems.

Business Systems & Process Support

- Understand departmental workflows and translate them into structured system processes.
- Create and maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and user guides.
- Continuously improve systems in line with evolving business requirements.
- Support teams in correct system adoption and usage.

4. Governance & Reporting Support (IT Side)

- Maintain structured, accurate, and reliable system data.
- Support management with accurate, system-generated reports for internal reviews.
- Reduce dependency on informal or verbal processes through disciplined system usage.

Required Skills & Experience:

Must-Have (Non-Negotiable)

- 2–6 years of experience working with business applications (ERP / CRM / internal systems).
- Hands-on experience in configuring software, not just end-user operation.
- Strong understanding of workflows, approvals, permissions, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of integrations, APIs, or webhooks.
- Solid awareness of current AI tools and trends.
- Ability to practically implement AI tools within business workflows.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Ability to write clear documentation, SOPs, and structured explanations.
- Strong logical thinking and process-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable coordinating with multiple departments.

Good-to-Have

- Experience with Zoho One, Odoo, SAP, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Experience using AI tools for automation, reporting, or internal productivity.
- Basic scripting or automation experience (Deluge or equivalent).
- Exposure to internal systems, audit, or compliance-driven environments.
