Faculty

The University believes that development education, research and policy draw their strengths from academic studies as well as reflective on-the- ground practice. In that spirit, our faculties are drawn from both academia and the development sector and engage in collaborative teaching, research, public writing and policy work.

We are particularly interested in candidates with academic or practice experience in environment, ecology and climate change in rural or urban settings in the Indian context.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

- Demonstrated expertise and grounded experience in Indian rural or urban settings in environment, ecology and/ or climate change.
- An advanced degree in relevant field is desirable for academics.




- On-the-ground experience of at least ten years and postgraduate degree in any field for the role of a practitioner.
- Reflective mindset with critical thinking skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Willingness to engage with a very diverse and large student body.
