JOB OVERVIEW

- Designation: Senior Associate
- Years of Experience: 4 to 8 yrs

- Location: Gurgaon

JOB PURPOSE

Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting for private equity and other asset classes by reconciling transactions, preparing statements, and analyzing financing structures. Support the deal team, provide quality control, and maintain financial trackers for private market funds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Reconcile transactions and valuation KPIs of portfolio investments, identifying and flagging discrepancies
- Prepare and review periodic reports on cash, income, expenses, NAV, and debt trackers for various private credit funds, ensuring accuracy of SEC financials and reports
- Track live cash balances, transactions, loan notices, and investments daily to ensure accurate reconciliation
- Reconcile Capital Account Statements with monthly notices and update relevant documents
- Review management fees, carried interest, and performance/incentive fees
- Analyse complex financing structures such as collateralized debt obligations, syndicated loans, and mortgage-backed securities
- Prepare, review, and reconcile fund portfolios, including capital calls, distributions, and valuations
- Support the deal team by analyzing investment memos and other financial documents to build Credit Summary Reports




- Provide quality control support to team leaders, ensuring high-quality deliverables and maintaining trackers/quality control mechanisms
- Review financial statements on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis for various private market funds, including venture capital, private equity, secondary markets, real estate, and infrastructure funds

KEY COMPETENCIES

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 4 - 8 years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role
- Robust analytical and reconciliation skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
