Key Responsibilities

1. Food Business – Stock & Costing Support

- Maintain daily & monthly raw material stock records
- Track stock inward, outward, and closing balances
- Support ingredient-wise food costing for menu items
- Track actual vs expected food cost
- Flag wastage, abnormal usage, or mismatches
- Maintain explicit Excel costing sheets for review

2. Petrol Pump & Gas Agency – Reconciliation

- Reconcile daily sales vs bank deposits
- Track and reconcile cash, UPI, card collections
- Support fuel stock vs sales reconciliation
- Maintain gas cylinder inward / outward / balance records
- Match company statements, dealer statements, and bank entries
- Highlight mismatches and follow up for closure

3. Expense Tracking & Payment Matching

- Book all expenses with correct classification
- Verify bills, vouchers, and supporting documents
- Match vendor invoices with payments
- Track pending payables and receivables
- Perform basic bank reconciliation

4. Accounting Software Support (Gradual)

- Work with management to shift from Excel to simple software
- (Tally / Zoho Books / Busy or similar)
- Assist in:
- Data entry
- Maintaining ledgers
- Stock and expense records
- No complex ERP or automation expected

5. Process Discipline & Reporting

- Maintain daily / weekly / monthly accounting trackers




- Keep records organised and audit-ready
- Share basic summaries with management
- Coordinate with CA / Consultant for filings and reviews

Skills & Experience Required

Must Have

- 1.5–3 years of accounting experience
- Strong comfort with Excel / Google Sheets
- Understanding of reconciliation & basic stock accounting
- Attention to detail and ability to follow routine processes
- Willingness to work across multiple small businesses

Preferred / Advantage

- Exposure to:
- Food business accounting or food costing
- Petrol pump or gas agency accounting
- Familiarity with Tally / Zoho Books / Busy
- Experience in owner-managed / small business setups

What This Role Is NOT

- Not a CA or senior accountant role
- No independent GST filing or audits
- No financial strategy or ERP implementation

Working Structure

- Full-time, on-site
- Monday to Saturday
- Reports directly to management

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
