About the Role

We are looking for a strong MERN Stack Technical Lead / Solution Architect with 6–8 years of experience in modern, scalable web development and cloud-based architectures (AWS/Azure).

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep system design expertise, robust database knowledge, and cloud architecture experience , along with the ability to guide teams and make critical technical decisions.

The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing engineering team, own solution architecture, drive best practices, and proactively solve technical and team challenges— not just execute instructions .

We are not looking for a "yes person" but a proactive contributor who challenges ideas constructively, suggests improvements, and leads by example.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end technical design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications using MongoDB/SQL, Express.js, React.js, Next.js, and Node.js
- Own and drive system design and architecture decisions for enterprise-grade applications
- Define architectural patterns and enforce best practices in code quality, CI/CD, testing, and security
- Design and optimize database architecture (SQL & NoSQL) for performance and scalability
- Drive cloud-native architecture and deployment strategies on AWS or Azure, optimizing performance and cost
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Design) to deliver features with high quality and velocity
- Provide technical mentorship to team members and conduct code reviews and technical assessments
- Manage and lead engineering teams , ensuring delivery ownership and team growth
- Proactively identify risks, propose solutions, and take ownership of resolving bottlenecks without waiting for escalation
- Advocate for continuous improvement in code, architecture, and team practices




- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and push back constructively when needed
- Leverage AI tools and low-code/no-code platforms to accelerate development, automation, and productivity

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6–8 years of professional experience in full-stack web development
- Deep expertise in the MERN Stack with production-grade backend and frontend projects
- Deep expertise in designing application for enterprise customers
- Good experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS or Azure ) – including serverless, storage, compute, security, monitoring
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams and taking ownership of delivery
- Solid grasp of system design, data structures, microservices, and API design
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines , Git, Docker, and cloud-native tools
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate solutions, challenge ideas, and influence decisions
- Ability to work independently and make judgment calls in ambiguous situations
- Should be proficient in doing development with AI tools and low-code/no-code platforms . Must have hands-on experience in using such tools for accelerating development and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in deploying application in AWS/Azure
- Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS, AKS)
- Experience in mentoring engineers and conducting performance evaluations
