RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a hands-on technology role focused on designing, building, and delivering cloud-based data catalog solutions. The role involves working with tools such as Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC) to enable effective data discovery, governance, and quality across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Data Catalog Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain data catalog solutions, including metadata management, search, and collaboration features. Metadata Management: Define and enforce standards to ensure data is well-documented and easily understood. Data Governance: Support governance frameworks and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Data Discovery & Lineage: Enable automated discovery and tracking of data across cloud and on-premise systems. Data Quality: Implement and monitor data quality standards to ensure accuracy and reliability. Cloud Integration: Integrate data catalog solutions with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise systems. Custom Development: Build workflows, APIs, and scripts to enhance catalog functionality. User Support: Provide guidance and technical support to users on tools and best practices. QUALIFICATIONS: - EDUCATION : B.E / B TECH/MASTERS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ELECTRONICS, RELEVANT TECHNICAL CERTIFICATION Technology Skills and Project Experience: - Data Cataloging: 10+ years of experience in data cataloging, metadata management,



and data governance. - Informatica CDGC: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog, including Metadata Command Center, Administration, Application Integration, Data Marketplace, and Monitoring. - Data Management: 10+ years of strong experience with databases, SQL, and data modeling. - Programming: Proficiency in any of the scripting languages such as Python or Java for building custom solutions. - Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and their data services. - Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. - Communication: Ability to clearly explain complex data concepts. - Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
