Job Title: Sales & Estimation Engineer – Fire Protection Systems

Job Overview

We are looking for a Sales & Estimation Engineer with hands-on experience in Fire Hydrant and Sprinkler Systems. The ideal candidate should have solid technical knowledge, commercial understanding, and coordination skills to deliver efficient and compliant fire safety solutions as per NBC, NFPA, and IS standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Proposal Preparation

* Review RFQs, tenders, and technical documents

* Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals

* Ensure compliance with fire safety standards and client requirements

2. Estimation & Costing

* Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM)

* Estimate costs for materials, labor, installation, testing & commissioning

* Ensure competitive and profitable pricing

3. Technical Evaluation

* Interpret fire system drawings, layouts, and specifications

* Perform basic hydraulic understanding and system analysis

* Ensure solutions meet project and safety standards

4. Customer Interaction





* Understand client requirements and provide suitable solutions

* Handle technical discussions and queries

* Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms

5. Sales Conversion

* Follow up on submitted quotations and tenders

* Build client relationships and close deals

* Convert leads into confirmed orders

6. Internal Coordination

* Work closely with procurement and execution teams

* Source competitive vendor pricing

* Ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

* Experience in Fire Hydrant & Sprinkler Systems is mandatory

* Strong knowledge of NBC, NFPA & IS Codes

* Good understanding of estimation, costing, and tendering

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills

* Ability to handle both technical and sales responsibilities
