We are hiring an experienced Sourcing Manager / Sourcing Executive for our growing fashion brand. We are specifically looking for someone who already has a strong network of garment factories in India that can manufacture formal dresses similar to styles sold by The Dress Outlet (evening gowns, prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, cocktail dresses, partywear, occasion wear).

This role is ideal for a candidate who understands women’s dress production, fabric sourcing, factory capabilities, vendor management, and can independently manage sourcing from factory identification to final production.

The ideal candidate should already know key garment hubs, have direct factory contacts, and be confident visiting factories for audits, fabric checks, quality control, and production follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and manage factories capable of producing formal dresses and occasion wear
- Maintain an active network/database of 20–30+ reliable garment factories
- Visit factories for capability checks, audits, sampling, quality inspections, and production follow-up
- Source fabrics, trims, embellishments, linings, and accessories for dresses
- Evaluate factory strengths in categories such as gowns, bridesmaid dresses, cocktail dresses, and partywear
- Negotiate pricing, MOQ, timelines, and production terms
- Check fabric quality, finishing, stitching standards, and workmanship before approvals
- Coordinate between factories and management for smooth execution
- Ensure on-time sampling, bulk production, and shipment readiness
- Resolve vendor issues, delays, quality concerns, and communication gaps
- Build long-term relationships with manufacturers and suppliers

Required Skills:





- Hands-on experience in apparel sourcing / garment merchandising / factory management
- Existing network of garment factories in India (preferred 20–30+ contacts)
- Strong knowledge of women’s formal dress manufacturing
- Strong fabric knowledge (satin, chiffon, tulle, mesh, crepe, lace, sequins, linings, stretch fabrics)
- Understanding of dress construction, finishing, fit, and quality standards
- Excellent vendor negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to travel frequently for factory visits
- Solid ownership mindset and problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of key sourcing hubs such as Surat, Delhi, Noida, Jaipur, Mumbai, Ludhiana, Tiruppur, etc.

Preferred Experience:

- 3+ years in sourcing, merchandising, or production
- Experience with women’s western wear / occasion wear brands preferred
- Experience sourcing gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses, cocktail dresses, or partywear preferred
- Existing relationships with factories specializing in embellished or formal wear garments preferred

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
