Job Summary

The Store & Logistics Executive shall be responsible for managing inventory, warehouse operations, material movement, logistics coordination, SAP/Tally transactions, dispatch activities, inward and outward documentation, stock reconciliation, and supply chain support to ensure uninterrupted production and customer deliveries. The role requires hands-on experience in IT Hardware Manufacturing, Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), or related manufacturing industries.

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Store Management

- Generate material indents and procurement requirements based on production plans and stock shortages.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP/Tally and physical registers.
- Perform stock journal voucher entries and inventory adjustments.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of materials within the warehouse.

Material Receiving & Inspection

- Receive purchased materials and verify quantity, quality, and physical condition.
- Coordinate unloading of imported consignments and domestic shipments.
- Arrange labour and resources for unloading containers and material handling.
- Ensure proper inward documentation and warehouse placement.
- Report shortages, damages, and discrepancies to management.

Production Material Management

- Issue materials to production against authorized requisitions.
- Verify quantities before material issuance.
- Maintain complete documentation of material movements.
- Ensure timely availability of production materials to avoid line stoppages.

Service & RMA Management





- Maintain inward and outward records for service department materials.
- Process faulty material receipts from production and service departments.
- Coordinate dispatch of defective materials to service centres for repair/replacement.
- Maintain warranty, RMA, and service call records.
- Track repaired/replaced material and update system records.

Logistics & Dispatch Operations

- Coordinate packing, labelling, and dispatch of finished goods.
- Prepare dispatch documentation, serial number records, invoices, E-Way Bills, and transporter documents.
- Arrange courier, transport vehicles, and freight services.
- Obtain freight quotations and coordinate approvals.
- Ensure timely dispatch to customers, branches, and service locations.
- Monitor shipments and ensure on-time delivery.

Warehouse Management

- Manage receiving, storage, preservation, and dispatch operations.
- Maintain warehouse discipline, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel for smooth operations.
- Plan warehouse capacity requirements in line with business growth.

Supply Chain Coordination

- Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, logistics, and suppliers.
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production requirements.
- Support supply chain optimization initiatives.
- Monitor supplier deliveries and transportation schedules.

Documentation & ERP Management

- Maintain accurate records in SAP ERP and Tally ERP.
- Process GRN, stock transfers, material issue notes, stock journals, and inventory reports.
- Prepare MIS reports related to inventory, dispatches, and stock movement.




- Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and audit standards.

Risk & Compliance Management

- Monitor logistics risks including cargo loss, transit damage, delays, and shortages.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper records for traceability and inventory accountability.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management, or related field preferred.

Experience Required

- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in Store, Warehouse, Inventory, and Logistics Operations.
- Experience in IT Hardware Manufacturing, Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Computer Assembly, Electronics Assembly, or related manufacturing industry.
- Experience handling inward, outward, inventory control, production support, and dispatch operations.

Technical Skills

- Working knowledge of SAP ERP (MM Module preferred).
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP.
- Inventory Management Systems.
- MS Excel, Word, and Reporting Tools.
- Knowledge of GRN, Stock Transfer, Material Issue, Inventory Reconciliation, and Warehouse Processes.
- Knowledge of E-Way Bill, Courier Management, and Logistics Documentation.
