Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial/GeoAI Analyst to work on agile risk-mapping platforms and real-time hazard-monitoring systems. This is a hands-on, production-oriented role requiring strong expertise in geospatial coding, SAR data processing, and GeoAI-driven analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain dynamic geospatial workflows for real-time hazard and risk mapping
Process and analyze multi-source geospatial datasets (satellite, SAR, rainfall, terrain, etc.)
Build GeoAI / ML models for geospatial pattern detection, prediction, and risk assessment
Work with SAR datasets (Sentinel-1, ALOS,
NISAR) for deformation, flood, or hazard analysis
Design and deploy web-based geospatial dashboards and applications
Automate geospatial pipelines using Python / R-based frameworks
Integrate outputs into operational early warning systems and decision-support platforms
Mandatory Skills
Strong programming skills in:
Python (GeoPandas, Rasterio, GDAL, xarray) OR
R (terra, sf, raster, stars)
Hands-on experience with:
ArcGIS & QGIS
ArcGIS Online (Web App Builder, Dashboards, StoryMaps, etc.)
Proven experience in:
SAR data processing and analysis (Sentinel-1, InSAR preferred)
Experience with
Google Earth Engine (GEE)
Solid understanding of:
Geospatial data processing pipelines
Raster and vector data handling
Spatial analysis and modelling
Experience in GeoAI / Machine Learning / Deep Learning for geospatial applications
