About the Role

We are looking for a creative Interior Designer to join our Design team in Kochi. You will work closely with the sales, project, and manufacturing teams to design indoor play areas, soft play zones, and Family Entertainment Centers that are safe, engaging, and visually striking — translating client space and budget requirements into practical, sellable design concepts.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D layouts and 3D visualizations for indoor play areas, soft play zones, and FEC spaces based on client site dimensions
- Design space plans that optimize play equipment placement, safety clearances, and traffic flow within given areas
- Develop mood boards, color schemes, and themed concepts for play areas (jungle, ocean, space, etc.)
- Coordinate with the sales team to convert client briefs and site measurements into design proposals and quotations
- Work with the production/manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible and align with equipment specifications




- Prepare client-facing presentations, renders, and design proposals for approvals
- Conduct or support site visits/measurements for upcoming projects when required
- Revise designs based on client feedback and budget constraints
- Maintain a library of design templates, themes, and past project visuals
- Stay updated on trends in play area design, FEC themes, and materials

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in interior design (experience with play areas, FECs, retail, or hospitality design is a plus but not mandatory)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max/Photoshop or similar 3D visualization tools
- Strong sense of space planning, color, and theme-based design
- Good communication skills to coordinate with sales, clients, and production teams
- Ability to manage multiple design proposals under deadlines
- A strong portfolio showcasing space planning and 3D visualization work is required

Preferred Qualities

- Interest in designing for children/family entertainment spaces
- Creativity in theme-based, playful design concepts
- Ability to work collaboratively across sales and production teams
- Willingness to travel locally for site visits when needed
