Key Responsibilities:-

1. Strategic Roadmap & Merchandising Alignment

- Partner with merchandising, category management, and sales leadership to build and execute the annual New Product Introduction (NPI) calendar.
- Analyze international design trends, consumer preferences, and competitive intelligence to establish a highly marketable product vision.
- Maintain a structured Stage-Gate process for all core collection rollouts to optimize resource efficiency.

2. Design Execution & Technical CAD Supervision

- Translate manual design briefs, sketches, and customer requirements into detailed engineering inputs for technical validation.
- Supervise the internal CAD engineering team to optimize digital 3D models using platforms like Rhino, Matrix, or MatrixGold.
- Ensure early-stage designs meet structural manufacturing parameters, reducing metal weight and stone settings while maximizing structural durability and premium aesthetics.

3. Rapid Prototyping (RPT) & Sample Engineering

- Oversee the complete sample-making lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration across CAD, Rapid Prototyping Technology (RPT), Ghat assembly, setting, and polishing.
- Manage a team of highly skilled model makers, casting specialists, and karigars to execute first-generation physical master samples.
- Conduct comprehensive design reviews on early prototypes to troubleshoot assembly errors before releasing final tooling to mass manufacturing.

4. Cost Optimization & Value Engineering

- Enforce strict governance on Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy, maintaining control over component weights,



precious metal purities (Gold/Silver/Platinum), and gemstone counts.
- Validate Benchmark Gross Cost (BMCG) and labor charges (AMC-LC) prior to releasing final Product Data Information Sheets (PDIS).
- Renegotiate technical build criteria to meet internal product margin targets without compromising the design intent or product quality.

5. Stakeholder Management & Commercialization

- Maintain open channels of communication with international key accounts to provide updates, acquire styling approvals, and resolve manufacturing modifications.
- Oversee early-stage vendor and supplier performance to ensure raw materials and components match approved master samples.
- Collaborate closely with factory operations to facilitate a smooth, error-free transition from pilot run samples to full-scale manufacturing.

Quantitative Metrics for Success (KPIs)

- On-Time Launch Adherence: Achieve ≥ 95% of new product releases matching deadlines listed on the strict NPI calendar.
- Design Brief Fill Rate: Maintain a minimum 95% target fulfillment rate for all creative briefs issued by category merchandising.
- First-Pass Yield (Quality Audits): Achieve ≥ 90% flawless execution on initial prototype quality reviews without needing structural rework.
- BOM Accuracy & Adherence: Ensure 100% data integrity within ERP/PLM platforms for CAD dimensions, metal allocation, and exact gemstone listings.
- Product Development Margin Targets: Maintain 100% adherence to planned product cost caps across all new collections
