VVD & Sons Ltd. is one of South India's leading FMCG companies, known for
delivering high-quality food products and building trusted consumer brands. We
are looking for energetic and result-oriented Sales Officers to strengthen our
Modern Trade business across Tamil Nadu.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop Modern Trade (MT) accounts within the assigned
territory.
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets on a monthly basis.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising across MT outlets.
- Build strong relationships with store managers, category managers, and key
stakeholders.
- Execute promotional activities and in-store campaigns to maximize sales.
- Monitor stock levels, replenish inventory, and minimize stock-outs.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotional initiatives.
- Coordinate with distributors and internal teams to ensure timely order
fulfillment.
- Prepare sales reports, market feedback,
and performance analysis.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Contemporary Trade sales operations.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Target-driven with strong analytical abilities.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates from reputed FMCG companies with Modern Trade exposure will be
preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience in handling key MT accounts and retail chains.
- Strong distributor and channel management skills.
- Ability to execute trade promotions and merchandising activities.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Maximum age of 30 years.
- Must be willing to work in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Trichy, or Coimbatore
