Role & responsibilities

- Perform accurate video annotation, segmentation, and action labeling as per client guidelines.
- Review first-person (egocentric) videos and identify action boundaries with precision.
- Segment videos into meaningful action sequences without gaps or overlaps.
- Create clear, command-based labels describing hand movements and object interactions.
- Ensure all annotations comply with project SOPs, quality standards, and client instructions.
- Conduct self-quality checks before submitting completed tasks.
- Maintain high annotation accuracy while meeting daily productivity targets.
- Identify and report ambiguous cases or project-related issues to the Team Lead or Project Manager.
- Collaborate with QA reviewers to resolve annotation discrepancies and improve quality.
- Follow data security, confidentiality, and client compliance requirements at all times.
- Participate in calibration sessions, feedback meetings, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Work efficiently with annotation tools and platforms used for AI/ML data annotation projects.

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Video Annotation, Video Segmentation, or AI Data Labeling projects.
- Experience in egocentric (first-person) video annotation is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of video segmentation, action labeling, and quality review processes.
- Ability to interpret and follow detailed annotation guidelines (SOPs) accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify action boundaries accurately.
- Good analytical and observational skills with a focus on annotation quality.
- Ability to achieve daily productivity and quality targets.
- Good computer skills and typing proficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
