Role & responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Department (OPD), ensuring smooth patient flow and productive service delivery.
- Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing coordination, and consultant schedules to optimize operational efficiency.
- Supervise the OPD, front office, and patient services teams, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and high standards of customer service.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Monitor patient waiting times, resolve service-related issues and complaints, and implement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), NABH standards, infection control protocols, and statutory regulations.
- Prepare and analyze OPD performance reports, patient footfall statistics, revenue data,



and other operational MIS to support decision-making.
- Conduct regular audits, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Plan manpower deployment, manage staff schedules, monitor performance, and organize training programs to improve team productivity and service excellence.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure confidentiality of patient information, and support hospital management in achieving departmental goals and quality objectives.
