Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Databricks Support Engineer with 46 years of experience in managing and supporting Databricks environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in workspace administration, cluster management, Unity Catalog governance, IAM/RBAC implementation, performance monitoring, and platform support across Development, QA, and Production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and administer Databricks workspaces across Development (DEV), QA, and Production (PROD) environments.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Databricks clusters, cluster policies, and instance pools.
- Monitor platform performance, resource utilization, and cost optimization (FinOps) activities.
- Perform workspace-level administration, configuration, and governance.




- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-level issues to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage the Unity Catalog governance framework.
- Configure and manage metastore, catalogs, schemas, external locations, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Manage storage credentials and secure external data access.
- Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and RBAC across Databricks resources.
- Collaborate with data engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure platform stability and governance.
- Follow operational best practices for security, compliance, monitoring, and platform administration.
