Role Purpose: The Chief Enterprise Architect is responsible for establishing, leading, and institutionalizing the Enterprise Architecture practice and its subsidiaries. This is a Group-level leadership role, accountable for ensuring that business strategy, operating model transformation, enterprise platforms, data, integrations, cybersecurity, and digital initiatives are shaped into one coherent enterprise architecture. The role exists to prevent fragmented technology decisions, duplicated systems, disconnected data structures, uncontrolled low-code expansion, and local optimization at the expense of Group-wide value. The Chief Enterprise Architect must turn Enterprise Architecture into a practical management discipline that improves decision quality, reduces complexity, strengthens standardization, and accelerates enterprise reinvention. This is not a documentation role and not a pure solution architecture role. It is a senior leadership position responsible for architecture governance, enterprise design authority, cross-platform alignment, and long-term enterprise integrity across a complex, project-driven, multi-entity organization.
Role Summary: The Chief Enterprise Architect will lead the Group Enterprise Architecture practice across business architecture, application architecture, enterprise data architecture, integration architecture, technology architecture, security architecture alignment, and architecture governance and standards. The role will work closely with the CIO, CDO, CISO, Oracle leadership, data and analytics leadership, business stakeholders, and subsidiary leadership teams to ensure that enterprise change is governed with architectural discipline and linked to measurable business outcomes

- Build and institutionalize the Group Enterprise Architecture function from a practical operating perspective
- Define and govern the target-state enterprise architecture for across business, applications, data, integration, and technology
- Establish architecture governance forums, review gates, standards, patterns, principles, and exception processes
- Ensure Oracle Fusion and surrounding platforms are governed as part of one enterprise architecture, not as isolated workstreams
- Drive application rationalization and modernization across fragmented legacy and point solutions
- Define architecture guardrails for low-code and no-code platforms such as DronaHQ, ensuring speed without creating shadow IT
- Strengthen the enterprise data architecture backbone, including master data, canonical models, interoperability, and reporting consistency
- Work closely with the CISO to ensure architecture decisions align with enterprise security and resilience requirements
- Support enterprise reinvention, integrated project management, manufacturing excellence,



and business model transformation through architecture leadership
- Improve enterprise decision quality by linking architecture to investment governance, transformation prioritization, and delivery assurance

- Define and lead the Group Enterprise Architecture charter, scope, methods, operating model, and management rhythm
- Establish architecture as a trusted enterprise function that supports strategy, transformation, and delivery decision-making
- Create a clear architecture model covering business, applications, data, integration, technology, and security alignment
- Build and lead a high-caliber architecture team and operating framework suitable for a multi-entity group

Oracle and Enterprise Platform Architecture

- Provide enterprise-level architectural oversight across Oracle Fusion and adjacent enterprise platforms
- Ensure architecture integrity across Finance, Procurement, Projects, integrations, reporting, data, and platform interlocks
- Govern how Oracle evolves in relation to business process standardization, master data, analytics, and enterprise controls
- Work with the Oracle CoE and CIO organization to ensure platform choices and extensions remain architecturally sustainable

Business Architecture and Reinvention Support

- Translate enterprise reinvention priorities into architecture principles, capability maps, and target operating model implications
- Connect business capabilities, process transformation, and platform architecture into one integrated design approach
- Support major Group transformation programs with architecture-led options, design decisions, and dependency clarity
- Ensure architecture reflects real business value chains, especially in EPC, project delivery, procurement, finance, supply chain, and industrial operations

Application Rationalization and Legacy Simplification

- Lead the rationalization of fragmented legacy applications and point solutions across the Group
- Define what should be retained, retired, replaced, consolidated, modernized, or governed differently
- Establish application lifecycle and rationalization principles tied to cost, risk, business value, and supportability
- Reduce duplication and unnecessary complexity across subsidiaries and functions

Low-Code / No-Code Governance

- Define the enterprise governance model for platforms such as DronaHQ and similar tools
- Establish use-case boundaries, control principles, integration patterns, security standards, support model expectations, and lifecycle governance
- Ensure low-code solutions accelerate business responsiveness without creating unmanaged application sprawl or data inconsistency




- Align low-code development with enterprise data, identity, architecture, and cybersecurity standards

Data Architecture and BDAT Alignment

- Establish enterprise data architecture principles covering master data, reference data, information models, interoperability, and reporting consistency
- Work with data and analytics leaders to align data platforms, business data usage, reporting layers, and transformation priorities
- Ensure architecture choices strengthen enterprise data quality, integration consistency, and decision making trust
- Play a central role in the architectural foundations for MDM and enterprise reporting rationalization

Integration and Interoperability Architecture

- Define integration principles, patterns, and governance across enterprise applications, digital platforms, reporting tools, and external ecosystems
- Ensure Group systems work as a connected enterprise architecture rather than a collection of project-led interfaces
- Drive common integration practices, reusable services, and enterprise interoperability standards

Security and Technology Architecture Alignment

- Partner closely with the CISO to align architecture and cybersecurity on principles, standards, segmentation, identity, resilience, and design controls
- Ensure enterprise architecture decisions do not create unmanaged technology or security risks
- Support resilient and secure target-state technology architecture across enterprise and industrial contexts

Architecture Governance and Decision Control

- Establish and chair architecture review processes for major programs, platforms, integrations, low-code apps, data initiatives, and enterprise changes
- Define exception handling, design review escalation, architecture sign-off principles, and decision logs
- Provide architecture input into enterprise investment decisions, business cases, and transformation prioritization
- Ensure architecture standards are practical, enforceable, and linked to business outcomes
