We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to validate and ensure the quality of complex, interactive digital forms and workflows built on an enterprise forms and content management platform, such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a similar system. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing online forms, form submissions, approval workflows, accessibility compliance, and integrations with backend systems.

Pay Scale

The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 $92,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for interactive web forms and form-based applications.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of forms and related workflow applications across environments (on-premise and/or cloud).
- Test form experiences, including:

- i) Form field validations
- ii) Conditional visibility rules
- iii) Calculations and expressions
- iv) Energetic form behavior
- v) Prefill and lookup services
- vi) Database and API integrations
- vii) Reusable form components/fragments
- viii) Document output or record generation (e.g., PDF or document of record)
- ix) Submission actions and downstream processing

- Validate multi-step forms, approval workflows, email notifications, and routing logic across different business scenarios.
- Test integrations between forms and enterprise systems such as HR, ITSM, ERP/CRM, document management, and e-signature platforms.
- Verify authoring, publishing, content updates, permissions,



and user roles within the forms/CMS platform as needed.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of AI-enabled or rules-driven form features, validating business rules and adaptive behavior.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar.
- Conduct accessibility testing to help ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA and ADA standards.
- Validate responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Execute cross-browser testing using major browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari).
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact assessment.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and UX designers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required skills

- 3+ years of software testing experience in web applications.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience testing digital forms or form-centric applications on an enterprise platform (experience with Adobe Experience Manager Forms is a strong plus).

- Exposure to content management concepts including components, templates, and publishing workflows.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or equivalent.
- Experience with defect and work management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred skills

- Experience with one or more enterprise digital experience or forms platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce Experience Cloud, ServiceNow, OnBase, OpenText, or similar).
- Experience testing cloud-based solutions and working with multi-environment deployment pipelines.
- Test automation experience using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Experience testing integrations with:

- i) HR and ERP systems
- ii) E-signature platforms
- iii) IT service management tools
- iv) Document management systems
- v) REST/SOAP APIs
- vi) Relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)

- Knowledge of accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, JAWS
